The focus of the book will be unrenowned animals, preferably mammals. Think quokka, not cat; think degu, not hamster. Yes, lizards and frogs would be nice, but they probably deserve their own books (a distinct possibility if this project succeeds). It would be great if the designers already had a quirky creature choice of their own; however, we will not shrink from providing suggestions. quokka capybara narwhal kudu fennec fox and so forth.
